The Small Business Hub at National Disability Institute (NDI) is excited to welcome you to this year’s Disability Owned Convening, a fully virtual, national event taking place on November 5 and 6, 2025.

This accessible convening offers a wide range of topics aiming to empower entrepreneurs to navigate an ever-changing business landscape, including leveraging AI for business growth, achieving financial health, marketing, accessing support and resources, and panels highlighting how entrepreneurs with disabilities seize opportunities and overcome challenges to build thriving businesses.

Over the past three years, this dynamic event has connected more than 2,650 entrepreneurs and small business owners with disabilities, entrepreneurial support organizations, state vocational rehabilitation counselors, policy makers, financial institutions and disability advocates from across the country.

What participants are saying about the previous convenings:

"I enjoyed learning from the various business owners with disabilities. I felt empowered and learned how they overcame different challenges. This is vital in our community. Representation matters.”

"SUPER HELPFUL information! What a wealth of knowledge! Thank you for sharing!”

"After watching the sessions, my hope was rekindled that I too can succeed as a small business person. It has always been a dream of mine.”

"I valued the presenters' inclusivity and diverse views on entrepreneurship. As a disabled business owner myself, I also felt supported to see that adapting our businesses to our needs is a strength, not a weakness.”

"I loved the practical information that can be implemented right away in your business.”
