When is the Disability Owned Convening?

The National Virtual Convening Disability Owned will take place on November 20 and 21, 2024 from 12.30 pm ET to 5:00 p.m. ET each day.

Is the convening an in-person event?

No, all the sessions are being held virtually.

Do I have already need to own a business to attend?

No, in addition to current business owners with disabilities, we encourage those exploring if starting a business is right for them, as well as entrepreneurial support organizations, to attend. Additionally, the content will be applicable to policy makers, financial institutions and anyone interested in disability advocacy and entrepreneurial support.

How can I request an accommodation to participate in the convening?

National Disability Institute is committed to full inclusion for everyone. Please note: Real-time captioning and ASL interpreting will be provided for the convening. How much is registration?

All registration fees have been prepaid by our sponsors, making the conference free for you to attend.

What is included with registration?

Registration provides access to all plenary, keynote sessions and exhibitors, as well as the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions. Access to the convening platform, which will include all breakout, keynote and plenary recordings and materials, will be available for 60 days following this virtual event.

After I register, what’s next?

You will receive a confirmation email immediately after registering for the event. Please check your spam and junk email folders.

How do I access the convening?

You will be able to join the virtual event by clicking on the log-in link at https://www.disabilityownedconvening.com or by using the link which will be emailed to you before the start of the event.

Can I view or watch sessions after the event?

Yes, all sessions will be recorded. You will have the ability to access the event platform and view sessions for 60 days following the virtual convening.
